This  site is  to celebrate Kim Flood's and Garth Colegrove's wedding on July 18, 1999.  They were married at The Water's Edge in Westbrook, Connecticut.   About 125 people gathered oceanside at high noon to witness the event.  It was one of  the  hottest days of  the year --about 95 degrees, sun or shade.  Although it was hot, the ceremony was short with only the exchanging of their vows and a short reading from Kim’s brother, Michael Flood.

Feel free to add general comments about the wedding, or add comments to one or more of   the pictures on this site.  Thumbnail  pictures taken by Rhodie Coleman, Louise Flood, Cathy Slack and Melissa Reardon during the ceremony and the reception that followed are all numbered for referencing your comments to a particular photo.  If you have pictures that you would like to add to the site, send photographs (no negatives!!) by snail mail (USPS) or E-mail (*.jpg file, highest resolution) and we will convert them to web-ready format.  [USPS: The Colemans; 9 Honey Hill Rd.; East  Haddam, CT  06423 or  E-mail: ]

Of course, the bride was beautiful and the groom handsome, but the pictures speak for themselves. However, the pictures can’t capture two of the elements that made the wedding great: food and music. The food was an excellent buffet featuring a raw bar with piles of oysters, clams and shrimps as long as your hand. The buffet included a variety of entrees where even the fussiest eater could have found at least several entrees to satisfy their appetite. The music was a live band that played a variety of tunes featuring both male and female vocalists singing everything from Motown to the Carpenters.
